Four years in the making, our new show Do Not Disturb has landed on Audible. Written and created by Sherise Blackman, this comedy follows three bold thirtysomethings from South London on a quest for good sex… which turns out to be trickier than expected.
In reality, making something feel real is one of the trickier parts of sound design. When listeners are constantly surrounded by real-life reference points, every sound choice counts. It takes time to find the right textures, record foley, shape the pacing — and bring it all together in a way that feels effortless.
Sound designer Ruth Rainey worked alongside Olga Reed to bring this audio drama to life in Dolby Atmos.
